All poster presenters are recommended to carefully follow the guidelines below:
Posters must be no larger than A0 portrait (1189 mm high x 841 mm wide).
Texts must be large enough to be read comfortably at the distance of 1.5 m.
The content of your poster should include an abstract, a background and/or objectives, methods, results and conclusions.
Only double-sided tape provided can be used to attach posters to the stands. Push pins and staple pins are not allowed.
Oral presentation & Short talks
At TSB 2018, there are two formats of oral presentations, including full oral presentation and short talks. The details of each format are as follows :
Participants can register as oral presenters via the TSB 2018 registration process. All oral presenters are required to prepare for 10-min presentation followed by a 2-min question-and-answer session. Since there are limited numbers of available oral presentation slots, some applicants might be asked to change your presentation type to poster presentation.
Short talks are organized in order to motivate young scientists to present their scientific findings in an effective and concise manner (2 min). Each short-talk presenter is selected from the pool of poster presenters by the panel of reviewers and will be invited by the TSB 2018 organizing committee to give a 2-min oral presentation.
If you accept to be a short-talk presenter, please prepare a PDF file containing 1 to 2 presentation slides, which summarize your research and highlight your most important findings and submit the file by November 8, 2018 to email@example.com.
